Additional Notes

Slate Mailers
Slate mailers who receive or make payments of $500 or more in connection with an election must file a pre-election statement due 40 days
before the election (covering the period up to the last 45 days before the election) and a pre-election statement due 12 days before
the election (covering the period up to the last 17 days before the election.
In addition, slate mailers who receive payments of $2,500 or more during the last 16 days before an election must file a Late Payment
Report (Form 498) within 24 hours.

State Officeholders/Candidates Contributing to Candidates in Local Elections
If a candidate for state office or state officeholder makes contributions totaling $10,000 or more in connection with a single local
election (to any number of candidates or ballot measures in that election), a Supplemental Pre-election Statement (Form 495) must be
filed in addition to a Form 460, covering the period from the last report cut-off date to the date 12 days before the local election.
In addtion, the committee must file 24-hour LCRs and LIERs if contributions or independent expenditures totaling $1,000 or more are made
during the 16 days prior to the election.
